Short answer: sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile, search for your business on Google or Maps, and in the management panel click "Ask for reviews". Google shows you a short link that opens the review form directly. Copy it and test it.
Step by step
- Sign in with the right account. Use the Google account that owns or manages your Business Profile.
- Open your profile. Search your business name on Google or open Google Maps. The management panel appears at the top of the results.
- Find "Ask for reviews". The button may be called "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews". Google changes its interface from time to time, so if you can't see it, open the Reviews section.
- Copy the link. It usually looks like
g.page/r/…/review. - Test it. Open the link on your phone or in a private (incognito) browser window and check that the review form opens.
Where to use the link
- On an NFC stand or card: customers hold their phone near it and the form opens at once. When you order a Google review stand, we write this link to the chip and then lock it, so check the link is right before you order.
- In a QR code: on menus, receipts or the wall.
- In messages: WhatsApp, SMS or email after the service.
- On social media: in your Instagram bio and on your Facebook page.
Common problems
I can't see the button. You're probably signed in with an account that doesn't have access to the profile, or the profile isn't verified yet. See the Google profile checklist.
The link opens a different business. If one account manages several locations, make sure you copied the link for the right location.
